From: Tom Wadlow <TAW at S1-A> This week's issue of TV Guide claims that many TV networks and newspeople are jockeying for the position of covering a future Shuttle mission . . as passengers. The big mission will be covering the flyby of Halley's Comet, using the Shuttle as an observation platform. But there is also talk of putting a reporter in orbit before then. Walter Cronkite, Jules Bergman and many other well-known news folk are said to have volunteered.
