A month or two ago, there was quite a bit of discussion about the new version of Appleworks, its pluses and minuses, but most of all, about its bugs. Two different versions of a patch were posted to comp.binaries.apple2 shortly thereafter, with the second patch superceding the first, and if I remember correctly, patching the first patch :-). I downloaded both of these as they came along, but...and here's my problem...I can only find one of them now, and I don't know which patch it is. Rather than using it to patch my copy of AW 3.0, and risk future papers, budgets, etc, I'd like to make sure that it's the right patch. Could someone mail me a copy of the second patch (or which- ever is the current/best one)? I'd really appreciate it. BTW, are any of these patches put out by Claris/Apple? I just got something in the mail from them concerning some problems in AW 3.0, and a couple of times they give an answer that more or less says, "Don't do this like it should be done, but instead do these 10 steps to simulate it." Hmmm... Almost sounds like some of my desperation programming. ;-) Anyways... I'd really appreciate the current patch, and maybe a list of bugs that it's supposed to fix.
