I suppose this is a little late... I just uploaded two files, each in two parts, to COMP.BINARIES.APPLE2 -- I'm a die-hard Apple //e user, and thought I'd share my pickings. The first of these files is PolyTris. It's like Tetris, only it's written in BASIC and lets you use 3-, 4-, or 5-block shapes. The BASIC version is too slow; I included a compiled version which runs under DOS 3.3 but for some reason unhooks ProDOS and heads into TRACE mode (messy). The second is a line-based text editor with neat features like cut and paste, ranges, find and global find and replace. I used it in a BBS once, and it works as an independent file to edit ASCII text. It's easily converted to run under a BBS driver. So now that I've sent these, I'd really like to get a ProDOS version of PolyTris (compiled, that is) from someone. Has anyone out there got a) the program, b) a compiler, and c) the time to send me a copy? Oh -- I got a letter saying EDIT didn't UNSHRINK too well. Anyone else having problems? Markum. Live! From the Great White North, eh!
