Attention! There are two medium sized bugs in WRITEIT.NDA that you should all be aware of. (Could someone please tell C.K.Haun about these, I don't know how to get to him electronically) 1. If you load a file or save one, and after a while CLOSE the NDA and reopen it to get a blank slate, (You were working on one file and wanted to just get rid of it and start on something else) Write it keeps the old filename in memory so if you happen to hit "SAVE" instead of 'SAVE AS', it will over-write the old file with the new one that is in WriteIT.NDA. Not good if you lose a 20K document by overwriting one that is only 3 lines long! 2. If you try SAVE AS and type in a file that already exists, it will give you the 'File already exists, REPLACE/Cancel' dialog fine. If you hit 'REPLACE' I get an error saying that the file could not be deleted. Oh well. BUT if you then go and hit 'SAVE', it will overwrite the file that you typed in for the original Save AS dialog. Just thought you should know -- Joel Sumner GENIE:JOEL.SUMNER These opinions are q4kx@cornella.ccs.cornell.edu q4kx@cornella warranted for 90 days or q4kx@vax5.cit.cornell.edu q4kx@crnlvax5 60,000 miles. Whichever .................................................... comes first. Never test for an error condition that you can't handle.
