[comp.sys.apple2] 'Mad Apple Forth' Language

| About a year ago I was corresponding with a gent that was writing
| "Mad Apple Fourth" language for the // series and was, at the time,
| working on a 16 bit version for the //GS.

I'm the one. Some corrections to your note though: the name is
Mad Apple Forth. I'm not strictly speaking the writer - I just picked
it up and started developing it.

IMPORTANT correction: the 16bit version is * NOT * just for the IIgs,
but for any 65802-equipped Apple II. I'm using it on an Apple IIc with
a 65802.

Currently, I haven't worked on MAF 16 for a while - MAF 8 even longer.
I've been working on several other projects.

My Apple II+ is working as an answering machine - and I've developed
an ampersand utility I now call the Tiger Toolbox (for cats of a different
color!) to control my Applecat's special features for voice control.

Along with the Tiger Toolbox is the answering machine itself - menu
controlled, fully configurable, remotely controllable (with OR without
TouchTone decoder option) ... I like it.

Both the machine and the Tiger Toolbox are DOS 3.3 - although
both are designed for easy conversion to Prodos whenever I can get
SAM in Prodos..

Also, for Davex I've developed several utilities - including a Forth
block disk reader, disk format identifier, and a "wait until" time
utility, as well as a suite of programs for cataloguing, typing text
files, and copying from disks of other formats. So far, my cpm and
pascal suites are complete - macintosh and dos 3.3 are still in
development.

If you are interested in any of my current projects let me know.
Most will be FreeWare, some will be ShareWare. I'm still deciding
for certain which programs will be Free and which will be ShareWare.
