An educational consultant for learning disabled students in our area is
looking for larger alternatives than Apple's standard IIgs color monitor.
She's seen the Sony. It's open panel of connectors on the side isn't
really ideal for a school environment. She's been told that the Mac
monitors are NOT compatible with the IIgs (is that correct??).
1) anyone know of any alternatives? A larger than 12" monitor that ALSO
has LOW RF interference (because there is other electronic equipment
in the environment) is what's needed.
2) A month or two ago, I got a message saying that a VGA card for the IIgs
is (was?) in beta test. Anyone know if sucha thing has become available
(or has a chance of being available soon)? Source & price data would
help if you happen to know.
Any likely solutions to the problem will be appreciated.
I no longer have the capacity (time) to follow comp.sys.apple2 closely,
so I will appreciate responses directly to me (cc: the list/newsgroup if
it seems appropriate).
I'll try and find time to summarize responses, if I receive replies likely
to be of interest to others.
