[comp.sys.apple2] Help Needed

sklar@TRAMP.COLORADO.EDU (SKLAR ROBERT M) (06/08/90)

Need help trying to figure out why an AE modem is causing the disk drive
of an apple 2e to cut out when installed. Configuration is an apple
2E with duo-disk and expanded mem. When the AE 2400 bd modem is added to the
configuration, the disk drive begins to have problems booting.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

It might be that your power supply can't handle pull, although it doesn't
sound like you have enough to cause that problem. Try a heavey duty power
supply from AE or some other company. Hope that helps it.
