Fascinating. My dealer's technician insisted it was a memory error. In any case, it went away when I moved my new FPE to a different slot -- I'm guessing some subtle timing problem. Not likely a heat problem -- the machine's in the basement and the room has to be about 65F. TMPLee@dockmaster.ncsc.mil
