Since I manage to survive on the "free" nets, I don't have access to the "pay" nets that Glen Bredon uses to update ProSel. So, I have two questions -- (1) what is the latest version? (I have ProSel 16 V 7.1 and ProSel(8) V 4.0) (2) the first version I got had a little note that there was a bug in the Apple SCSI driver and/or microcode that caused the ProSel 16 Optimizer and Volume Repair to trash hard drives. (The ProSel 8 versions were OK.) A later update came with a SCSI patch that I think was supposed to fix the problem. The patch doesn't look like it applies to system disk 5.0.2 since the SCSI driver now has a slightly different name. Has the Problem Glen discovered been fixed in 5.0.2? (This is with the pre-DMA Apple SCSI card.) TMPLee@dockmaster.ncsc.mil
