Someone recently asked about more technical rags for the II line. 8/16 (The Journal of Apple II Programming) is attemting to fill the void created when Call-APPLE died and seems to be making a "go" of it. Its a (so far) 44 page monthly magazine which will remind you of both C-A and Bob S-C's Apple Assembly Lines. Most source code is in Merlin. Regular contributors to the articles include Mike Westerfield, Jerry Kindall, Steve Stephenson, John Link, and (soon) Cecil Fretwell. Subscriptions: Magazine 1 year $29.95 2 years $56 Disk 1 year $69.95 6 months $39.95 3 months $21 Canada & Mexico add $5 per product per year non-North American orders add $15 per product per year Ariel Publishing, Inc., PO Box 398, Pateros, WA 98846 (509) 923-2249 (and encourage them to publish their contributor's net-addresses.) uucp: crash!orbit!pnet51!stgeorge arpa: crash!orbit!pnet51!stgeorge@nosc.mil inet: stgeorge@pnet51.cts.com

In-Reply-To: message from stgeorge@pnet51.orb.mn.org Re: encouraging contributors to publish their net addresses... Good idea... many of the submissions I get for the 8-bit side come via GEnie, though; not a whole lot of people have actual Usenet accounts.
