At our local Apple II user group mtg today, I heard from at least 4 or 5 folks who have tried to use the NEW SCSI controller card on their Apple IIgs machines and the card would not recognize the drive. Note that the older Apple SCSI, or in one case a CMS SCSI card, had no problem recognizing the drive. These machines were relatively stock machines. There was a mixture of drives represented - some CMS, some Ehman, etc. Is there some catch here? Any reason why such a large number of folks might be having problems? -- Larry W.
