A while back I saw an add for Orca/Disassembler. I never saw any after it and havent heard about it around here or at the local BCS groups. Can anyone provide some feedback on it and its performance. Is it worth getting or should I wait for something better? I used to have Disasm (dates me Im sure) and still have Sourcer but I find them cumbersome to use. Does anyone know of any other disassemblers besides these 3? Any caveats or kudos?? Bruce (bruce@archive.rtp.dg.com or kahn@adam.dg.com)

The orca package is great but I haven't used the Disassembler enough to give you a good evaluation.

I met with Paul Elseth (Author) at AppleFest and he said there will soon be a new version with enhancements... such as the ability to disassemble code in resource forks and a bug fix here and there. There weren't many bugs in the first version, either! I did notice that ACEShutDown was ACEBootInit and also that SetSCB was SetSBC (Confused the heck out of me! Why is it setting for a subtract with carry? :-) I really like the ORCA/Disassembler and plan to get the upgrade as soon as I hear it's available. > Bruce (bruce@archive.rtp.dg.com > or kahn@adam.dg.com) -- ===> Josef W.
