Hi GS users, I upgraded my system from System 5.0 to 5.02 through the use of the Claris AppleWorks GS 1.1 upgrade that included a complete 5.02 distribution. As far as I can tell, all Claris did is distribute Apple's System files onto four disks, rename the disks, add the Claris printer drivers and rewrite all the installer scripts to ask for the renamed disks. I would like to cull out the GS system files and make a true set of System Disks. I believe there is a tech note that lists the contents of the official distribution disks, so I am OK there. My only problem is, the installer scripts have all been rewritten to look for files where Claris put them, not where Apple put them. Could someone out there with a real set of System 5.02 disks Shrinkit and BINSCII the Scripts folder from it and forward it to me? They are only short text files so I don't think Apple would mind. Thank you in advance. Seymour Joseph joseph@elbereth.rutgers.edu
