[comp.sys.apple2] Apple dealers in PA

root@generic.UUCP (Superuser) (06/24/90)

I will be going down to Philadelphia in about a week's time from today.
And I am in need of names of ANY good Apple dealers there (I will be staying
very close to Scranton, so dealers around there is prefferred). I am
specifically looking for the No-Slot-Clock by SRI (around the $30 range, up
here in Toronto Canada, they charge quite a bit more for this beauty). I
would really appreciate it, if you could give me the name, and address of this
dealer, and if at all possible, if you could find out if they have one of
these NSC's in stock. I would really appreciate it (also, directions could
come in handy - I might get lost driving in a foreign state you know!). I
am willing to pay the favour any time, if you have questions about Toronto
<dubious look>. The following addresses, are where you can reach me. Once
again, thank you for your time, I would really appreciate it.

There's more, but I don't want to spend valuable net time/money on all
the less important sites I'm on. Anyways, a swift reply, I would really
appreciate. My most prefferred address is the one at aunix, then at contact,
then generic, then pnet91 (same thing), and then at pro-generic.

Hi,
I live in the Philadelphia area, and can't think of any dealers off hand
that carry the No Slot Clock. But you are in luck, there is a Computer show
(there are many during the year in this area) at Garden State Park Race Course
(short trip into New Jersey). Although these shows are MAINLY ibm, I have seen
the NSC at these shows many times. Also, since the clock works on the ibm's
too, you should be in luck. I think they run in the $30 range last time I
looked. I bought one about a year and half ago for my //e and can't even
remember what I paid for it.

Oh, the show is on Sunday, July 8th. Times are from 10am to 4pm. It is at
Garden State Park, Main level, Cherry Hill NJ. It is opposite the Holiday
Inn on Route 70. Admission is $5.00. For more informaiton, call Robert
Barlow at (201) 533-1991. (This info is right off the card)

If you need directions, just let me know where you are staying in Phila, and I
can give you them. There is also another show on July 4 (Can you believe)
at the Days Inn in Allentown, PA. (if that is closer or not).

If you have any more questions, please email me direct or try sending to the
info-apple list if we can't mail directly.
