Many many moons ago, before there was even talk of an AppleIIgs+ I requested a text editor for the GS. My preference is for an NDA (or is it a CDA sorry I still don't know the difference) so I can check out a text file right there on the desk top. What matters is that it keeps it's text nature (ASCII), that it can be revised (edited) and that there be search and replace capability. Also would be nice if you could have as large a file as you like (dependent on hardware of course). Thank you for doing this. Let me know when It's ready and I will pay or beta test or both. Tamara p.s. Would someone tell me the things you need to change to use KERMIT 3.86. Something you had to change in the Control Panel (memory not what it used to be). ----------- "We've got a thousand points of light for the homeless man, We've got a kinder gentler machine gun hand" Keep on rockin' in a free world Neil Young
