I recently bought Checkmate Technology's Multiram/RGB card with an IBM adapter cable to use with an IBM CGA monitor. Everything works fine except for one small problem with double hi-res programs. Some of them don't seem to kick the card into hi-res and I'm forced to play them in monochrome disply. Infocom games are especially bad such as Zork Zero and Shogun whereas programs like Police Quest and Space Quest work fine. When I run the RGB demo that came with the card I can switch between mono and double hi-res no problem. Any one else out there have one of these things and if so are you having any similar problems?
