I picked up a 45M Rodime drive for $212 (including shipping), borrowed a
case+Power Supply+cable from a friend (cost <$150), and bought a DMA SCSI
card for $136.nn.  I don't know if this is really "typical".

P.S.  You can save around $100 if you go for a used Revision C SCSI card.

P.S.S.  I filled up almost 40M within 2 days and I still have 250 3.5" disks.
I wish I would have gone with a 64M at LEAST ($250 on misc.forsale).
