I have a friend that has an Apple //e which cannot load Prodos. When he boots his computer, he gets the Prodos startup screen, then gets the message "Relocation/Configuration Error". He did a self test, and came ip with the following: Ram: 00000010. Can Matt or Dave or anyone else on the net who has seen this problem before, please let me know what it means. I have the Apple Supporttools package from Apple, but it only goes thru diagnostics procedures on the Macintosh (Can be taken any way you want). Also, can anyone tell me what uudecode is. I have just received a Gif picture from the Space digest of the hubble telescope. The message says to cut here (like Binsci & BinHex), then use uudecode to process it. Also, can you tell me if there is a version available for the // or ][gs. Thanks alot in advance, ________________________________________________________________________ George A. In-Reply-To: message from V2071A@VM.TEMPLE.EDU George, The error message coming up on the IIe indicates a problem with memory on the motherboard. It would probably be best to take this machine to your local Apple Dealer.
