UD182050@NDSUVM1.BITNET (Mike Aos) (07/17/90)
OK, the disk formats fine to one large SCSI hard disk. Then I go to ADU, and partition it into x number of partitions (usually 3, but I could go just two). Anyway, they initialize fine, but when I hit the DISK (or is it DRIVE) button, at least one of them usually has a problem. There are a couple of combinations (10.5/32/.5) that work most of the time, but that isn't really what I want. The error us usually that it can't read the disk, or that the disk may be damaged. Finder choked on 'em too. ADU inits them just fine though! Any ideas? Oh yeah, and when copying files to the first partition, I invariably get SYSTEM ERROR $8011, and it won't finish. I think maybe I didn't get this error when I had the DMA DIP on the card shut off. Still doesn't work though. Thanks, Mike
