>Hello,
    >I have been requested by a co-worker to find some shareware
>programs for educational purposes. He is working with ninth grade
>students who don't have much computer experience. They are looking
>for programs in the areas of math, chemistry, programming, engineering,
>or anything else that will work on an Apple ][.

Project SERAPHIM is an NSF-sponsored clearinghouse for instructional
microcomputer information in chemistry. They have over 700 programs
available on over 240 disks; the majority of these are for the Apple II.
The prices for stuff are very reasonable ($5 per disk).
