I'm investigating what it would take to port a small Mac application to the GS, and I'd appreciate any info or comments. The Mac application is about 2600 lines of MPW 'C' code, 200 of which are for resources. It's a standard desktop-type application. I do not have a Mac. I have a ROM 01 GS with 2 Meg memory, TWGS and hard drive. I currently have ORCA/C 1.0 and I have DesignMaster on order. I have access to a Mac for using AFE to get the source code onto ProDOS. I have the ToolBox References #1 and #2 with #3 on order. Oh, yeah I'm running 5.02. Has anyone (successfully) ported a Mac Application to the GS? What are the areas to watch out for? What percentage of tool calls are shared by the 2 toolkits? Is there a relatively easy method of porting Mac resources to GS resources? Should I try and get a beta copy of ORCA/C 1.1? Any info is appreciated. Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Allan Belyea UUCP: 3755 Riverside Dr. Cognos Incorporated alb@cognos.UUCP P.O.
