Hi there. Got a question for you all... I have a gs system (ROM 3.0) which currently has the TWGS card, and the Juice Plus 2 Meg memory expansion card (good card, no complaints). Problem occurs when I try to load the system disk (5.0), or for that matter, most any other disk. If the machine is in transwarp mode (but not 'normal' or 'fast') I get kicked into the monitor. For the system disk, this happens about halfway across the red strip that appears when loading. This problem doesn't happen when the machine is first turned on (cold, not used for a while), only if booted or turned off/on after the first five minutes or so of use... and thereafter. For those who may think it's overheating, I have a brand-new Kensington System Saver IIgs in place, too. I suppose being summer, the heat may be overpowering the fan, but somehow I doubt it. Anyone have an idea what's wrong? I had a similar problem, and I found that snugging up all the IC's on the card, and switching slots seemed to clear it up. ------- Mike UD182050@NDSUVM1 (.Bitnet?)
