Yes, Wordperfect works best off a hard disk (I don't even want to think of using it off the 3.5 any more.) It works even better if you set up /RAM5 as the "virtual file" directory, i.e., where it puts the working documents that overflow memory. But as soon as you work with large documents or several at once you can start running out of memory pretty fast. (The 1 Meg expansion card sure is looking small these days ...)
