I just aquired an apple IIe. It has three board (not installed) called "Bus Expander II" by Mountain Computer Inc.. Can anyone tell me what these are used for? It also had a small (1-1/2 by 2 inch) pc board by MCI (Mountain Computer) with six chips/sockets layed out as follows: 74LS14N 16 pin socket 14 pin socket 16 pin socket DM74LS10N 74LS138N It says "03-00709-01 REV A" on the back. Anyone know what it is? I have one other board I was wondering about. It says the following: DYNA COMMUNICATIONS LCR APPLE INTERFACE DC12 Can anyone tell me what it is? Now, to some easier questions. (I have never used an apple before so please forgive my ignorance.) I have a printer (an NX-1000 - w/ parallel interface) that I would like to hook up to the apple. Any problem? I assume I would need a card with a parallel port. Any recomendations? I am also interested in using it at a terminal. I guess I'll need both a term program and a card with a serial port. Possibly a modem as well. (I have one now but maybe I'll keep it where it is and get another for the apple.) Any suggestions on these? Any advice greatly apreciated! Thanks Scott Buttered bread always lands * Scott McGee butter side down! In a previous article <1990Jul31.015638.20464@hellgate.utah.edu> I wrote regarding an Apple IIe computer I had aquired. It doesn't seem to have 64 K of memory (the one program I found that required 64K wouldn't work) so I assume it is a 48 K machine. It (now) has a disk controller and two Micro Sci drives. I also have some cards that I haven't identified. (see below if you think you can tell me what they are or email me if you might be interested in them). I found a neigbor who is interested in buying it. Can anyone give me some idea of how much it is worth and what to ask for it? Thanks Scott (about the pc boards that came with it - copied from previous post) >I just aquired an apple IIe. It has three board (not installed) called >"Bus Expander II" by Mountain Computer Inc..
