[comp.sys.apple2] user group connection

billp@pro-freedom.cts.com (Bill Peeples) (08/05/90)

I am trying to find out some information about how our user
group is listed with apple. In other words, whether or not
we are currently in their records as an authorized user
group and who they list as user group ambassador. Our p.o.
box hasn't received anything from them for some time now.

Could someone please e-mail me information on who to contact
to get my questions answered?

Thanks
Bill Peeples

You might try calling 1-800-538-9696 and ask for extension 500. This is the
User Group Referral at Apple Computer Company. They can tell you if you are
listed and who your rep is.

BTW, if you are going to make any trips and stay at a place for awhile, you
might check with them before you leave. I've done that a few times when I was
on extended business trips and met some wonderful, friendly and knowledgable
people in Alaska, Nevada, Hawaii and Colorado. Of course, I took some trading
stock out of our User Group library to help things along but I don't think I
really needed to do that to meet the other Apple II users. It just helped.
