On TV I saw an advertisement for Fortune magazine, during which they showed a cover with something like "How Steve Jobs linked up with IBM". Does anybody know anything about that? NextStep is the object-oriented programming environment for the Next computer. This would allow a larger market base for software developed on the Next computer because these programs could run on an IBM as well. The next despratly needs more software for it to compete with the Mac II. The people did a much better job developing a Graphic User Interface than the people at Microsoft or IBM (my opinion). The next is a very nice computer and if it were cheaper and had more software I would buy one. -- +=+ +=+ +=+ +=+ +=+ +=+ +=+ +=+ +=+ +=+ +=+ +=+ +=+ +=+ +=+ +=+ +=+ +=+ +=+ +=+ j.surine@Wichita.NCR.COM (Jim Surine) /\/\/\/\/\ NCR Peripheral Products Division, Wichita Kansas / / /\/\/\ \ \ work (316) 636-8586 home (316) 721-6280 / / / / /\ \ \ \ \
