acura@eecs.cs.pdx.edu (Alvin Tirso Cura (CD)) (08/17/90)

A friend of mine is in desperate need for an RF modulator so that he
may hook his Apple ][+ to his TV. Please e-mail me if anyone knows how I may
obtain one soon.

Thanks in advance.

This is in reply to acura@jove.cs.pdx.edu about getting an RF modulator.

Sorry, I couldn't e-mail you.

An RF modulator is a pretty simple thing to come buy. Go by a record store
or an electronics place to see if they hove one. If they don't, then go
Radio Shack. They have one, but they charge an arm and a leg for it ...
(as with all their other crap). I got one there for about $30. You can
get a decont one though for only about $5. I even bought one for 49 cents!
once... but it didn't work all that great, but it DID work .

If your freind doesn't mind, he can connect to the T.V. through a VCR. just
plug it into the VIDEO IN on the back of the VCR, make sure the VCR power is
on and the VCR is set to VTR or VCR (play mode) and turn the TV to Channel 3
or 4, depending on what channel he has the VCR set to to watch tapes.
