I recently received System Disk 3.2 (for 8-bit Apple II's) which includes
changes to BASIC.SYSTEM and PRODOS.

It does have a better bye program (in fact, it is very similar to Bird's
Better Bye), but there was no mention of incompatibilities with System 5.0.2.

There's no mention because it's really not a problem...just don't try to
replace P8 on the System disk with 1.9.  It wouldn't help much anyway,
because under GS/OS you never see the ProDOS 8 Quit code (it just quits
back to the GS/OS app you came from).
