[comp.sys.apple2] Icons dragged into applications

I don't want to sound (too much) like a NeXT propagandist, but there
is a graceful mechanism in NeXT's AppKit that lets you do just that.
It's used by things like the Mail application if you want to include
files, directories, etc. (just drag the icons into the document).

In any case, this mechanism represents an intuitive way to interact
with the file system in any graphics-based environment; I hope Apple
will include this functionality in a future version of GS/OS.
