After unpacking the 3200 disk, there's no viewer program, just data files. What do I need to actually run out the pictures? Thanks in advance. Thanks in advance. Well, the disk I got was self booting. I'm not sure how it was packed for the net, as I got my copy from a friend, but you may try booting from that disk. If worse comes to worse, any version of View 3200 above 1.0 (ie 1.1 or 1.2) will read that format, so you can jus tload 'em in and take a look! > Bob Hallorak Jonah Stich

This is how the 3200 pics were packed: The first file (SLIDESHOW) was a shrunk disk -- I copied the french disk, deleted all the pictures, zeroed the unused blocks, and shrunk it. The disk is self booting and contains the french slide show program. It uses the volume directory of the disk to find its pictures. All the picture files were of shrinkit archives of each picture individually. These pictures can be view by versions 1.1 and up of Jonah's View3200. To reconstruct the original disk, unpack SLIDESHOW to a 3.5 and copy all the unpacked pictures (filename.3201) to it. You will have a self-booting disk that cycles through the volume directory (in CAT order) and displays all french format (at least) pictures it finds. All of the posted files are available via FTP from tybalt.caltech.edu [131.215.139.100] or I can mail them. Todd Whitesel toddpw @ tybalt.caltech.edu

Also, if anyone out there has the other 3200 disks, POST THEM! Those pictures where great! A friend of mine here at Behrend is actually scared to show them to his family because he's scared they will confiscate the GS for home use! Also, I have noticed that the disks posted to AOL are incomplete due to their own little brand of censorship. Anyone have COMPLETE copies? I'd be willing to spend for disks and mailling costs if anyone could send them to me. I understand that many people don't want to post them to the net because of the HUGE size and the time needed to upload them. I however cannot and willnot pay AOL for 75 minutes of download time for censored material! Some of what they censored were probably the best graphics on there. At least, that's usually how it is when people start censoring. Nothing with bare flesh or magic involved allowed! Any responses are directed to the paths in my .sig file. EMail is preferrable, as I only get home every other weekend, and Mom gets upset when the mailbox is too full... I unpacked the slide show disk and added all of the picture files that had
come across. After displaying a few pictures, the program bombed. Could
I have been missing some picture that came over since?
