Greetings, Recently, I asked you all if anyone had a Decillionix DX-1 Apple II sampling interface board and amazingly, someone did and now I have one. Well, believe it or not, I know of a college computer music program which uses the old Alpha Syntauri systems and would just LOVE to have a Decillionix board to go along with it. Unfortunately, I don't want to get rid of mine, but if there are any others out there, maybe we can help them out. Specifically, if you have an old DX-1 board sitting around gathering dust, why not donate it to the college and receive a nice tax deduction this year? So, if you know where I could find a kind soul with a DX-1 board who is in desperate need of some additional tax write-off, please write me at the address below or call during the day at (408) 447-5269. What is this board and what all does it do? Todd Whitesel toddpw @ tybalt.caltech.edu

toddpw@tybalt.caltech.edu (Todd P. Whitesel): >What is this board and what all does it do? It's a board which digitizes an incoming audio signal and then can either store the sample and/or play it back through its own audio output. If you have an Alpha Syntauri synth and some software, you can also use the DX-1 as a primitive sampler for the Alpha. ============================================================================== | Greg Anderson | hpcuhd!grega | grega@hpcuhd.HP.COM | ============================================================================== | "It isn't necessary to be rich and famous to be happy.
