Has anyone out there heard anything about the GS TurboREZ card that was demoed at the last Applefest. Has it been released? Shelved? etc. It would be interesting to see, given the rumor in Nibble two months ago about Apple upgrading the GS...since one of the things they mentioned was adding a 600x400 screen (interlaced probably...interlaced being pronounced "useless", you'd think Apple would take a page out of the Amiga's history -> Amiga 3000s have de-interlacing circuitry and VGA resolutions) Mark Orr $csd211@lsuvm.sncc.lsu.edu

In reply to: $CSD211@LSUVM.BITNET (Mark Orr) The last I heard about this card was at an Apple II Arts & Graphics forum conference on America Online a few months back. Bill St. Pierre, the card's designer, said that for a variety of reasons (including, if memory serves, financial problems and possibilities of graphic enhancements from Apple), the TurboRez card was being shelved. As far as I know, that's still the case. Joseph F.
