The only serial card I have on my //e is an Ace dual interface. Although the manual says this card doesn't work in 80-column mode, indeed it does, with a little convincing. I'm using it right now with Kermit and a driver I wrote for it myself. I need some people with Ace computers to help me make sure this driver will work on the Ace. I figure most of the people who would have Ace dual interfaces have them in Ace computers. The main problem is making it work in 80 columns, since the method of doing this is rather kludgy (I'd be happy to explain how this is done to anyone who wants to know). If you have an Ace computer, with or without a dual interface, please send e-mail telling me what model computer you have, what serial interface, and what kind of 80-column hardware you have (including if it's built in).
