Here's the problem. Yesterday, I booted up my IIgs with its innerdrive 40meg drive (partitioned into two equal parts) and it booted up fine. but when I opened up the drive Icon, there were no files in it. It still said that 15 out of 20 megs on the partition were full, but there were no files. I couldn't understand this because the drive still booted fine (yes, the same partition), the control panel still works fine. I did a verify on the disk and it worked fine, no errors. I went into copyII+ and did a catalog of the disk, and there were still files on it (it had dir files on it but it did not catalog that way) but some of them were garbage files. I tried to delete them, but it said that it was not a prodos disk(!?) I then tried to create a subdirectory, but that didn't work either. Also, I can't copy any files to the drive. The only thing I can think of that I did since I last booted the machine was to add an NDA that I found on tybalt.caltech.edu called the Transfusion Demo. It still works as well. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated, as I do have about 15 megs of data on there (not backed up), as well as my only copy of GSOS (it came with the hard disk). If anyone has any ideas..... tyler@seas.upenn.edu
