I recently got SCIIBIN from the berkeley ftp-archives. I simply compild it here on a Sun3/50, running SunOS4.1, doing a "cc" (no options or anything). I've started using SCIIBIN now, since it's a lot smaller to download the SCIIBIN output, rather than the text-file and unBINSCII it on my GS. But, on every file I SCIIBIN, I keep getting a Sciibin (<filename>,#): Warning: double character in alfabet I only got just the sciibin file from teh ftp-site. There were some other files, like sciibin.and.friends and sciibin.sun4mods. Do I need any of these other mods? Am I using a too-old version of SCIIBIN? The output of SCIIBIN seems to be ok howver. I can still unShrinkIt (GS or IIe) and it works fine. It's just a bit worrisome to see warnings. Thanks for all your help - and please drop a note in my mailbox if you know what I'm supposed to do.
