There's been a lot of talk about OctoRAM lately and I'm getting closer to wanting more memory. OctoRAM and GS Sauce are the only two SIMM boards that I know of. I have a ROM 03 and don't know the implications wrt these memory boards. I seem to recall that there was some kind of change made with ROM 03. I know I want at least 2 Megs with room for more if I were to get AE's RAMKeeper. So here follow some questions: - Are there any other SIMM boards available? - I know GS Sauce works with a ROM 03, but does it work with AE's RamKeeper? - Will OctoRAM work on a ROM 03 and with RamKeeper? - What about add-ons like TWGS, RAMFast SCSI, etc. - Why does the new Chinook 4000 advertise ROM 03 compatibility while no one else does. Does this mean anything? - Is the 4 bank(or chip) limit specific to the GS, the memory board? Finally someone recently made reference to the modified 65816 and I assumed they meant AISC. What happened over the summer? Has the company and/or hardware failed? Things were looking real good last April including the "major aftermarket manufacturer" with whom a contract was (supposedly?) signed. Thanks for any help! Mail me personally and I'll summarize or the net if the public should know.
