Well put comments. I find it increasingly frustrating that one cannot find a
good variety of Apple software and books in the general marketplace, only the
PC Compatibles. I own an Apple //c, and most of my acquistions of software is
via mail order, as the majority of places you mention just doesn't stock the
quality and quantity of Apple goods, like the Time Out series ( those that do
have not gotten Appleworks v3.0 updated merchandise accessories.
Books-Why is it that the only regular book I can find on a shelf at the
so-called major bookstores is the one originally was written by Ziff-Davis, of
Creative Computing fame, on how to write in BASIC? THat really irks me to no
end.
I am happy about the Publish It!2 & 3 for the Apple, but not 1 book about it,
only the PC books again, or general books concerning Desk Top Publishing.
Nothing for the Apple in specific terms. Timeworks P.R. person talked to me
via the long distance horn not too long ago, and she sympathized with me
regarding that aspect of neglect by Authors and Publishers, as well as the
powerbrokers who control the bookstores.
THanks for letting me blow off some ventable steam. No need for a stroke on
such a lovely evening otherwise.
