[comp.sys.apple2] Apple IIC Memory Expansion

Bill.Green@samba.acs.unc.edu (BBS Account) (10/06/90)

So, here I sit with a IIC that seems to be forgotten by everyone (Apple can't help with my question, they don't have any information on such an old machine!), and I have a question.

Does anyone have any suggestions one memory expansion for the revised memory expandable IIC? Does "memory expandable" mean it's just a matter of plugging in a card? Suggestions please?

The older machines take the Z-RAM-ULTRA and Ram Express by Applied Engineering
nicely. I've installed a couple on club members' machines. You need to know
what version ][c you have to order the correct card, as there are assembly
differences.

If you don't have a memory expansion connector, order the Z-RAM which plugs
into the cpu itself and then the cpu plugs into the card.

I've had good luck with Roger Coats in San Diego, 1-800-438-2883.
