[comp.sys.apple2] Prosel 16 Problem

STEIN@UCONNVM.BITNET (Alan Stein) (10/06/90)

I just downloaded the Prosel 16 v.8.54 upgrade and can't seem to get the
calendar working. I skipped a few upgrades, and haven't downloaded any
documentation for the appointment calendar.
When I go into the calendar (from the Prosel menu), I see a calendar,
but can't enter anything. I can change the date by pressing arrow keys,
but can't enter appointments or events. The TAB key seems to have no effect.
If I press the RETURN or ENTER keys, I get a screen that looks as follows:

                       Prosel-16 appointment editor

                              October 5, 1990

Appointment title: .......................... Time:.....:......

Disk error #$44. Aborting - press a key.

TAB change field, ^S save changes, ESC abort.

   Any advise would be welcome.

I changed the disk access to "yes", but it didn't change anything.

Alan,

Did you create the new subdirectory in the Prosel.16 folder. I can't
quite remember what the name is, but Glen lists the folder name in the
Revision file, but I don't think he explicitly tells you to create it.
This was my initial problem with the calender. Once created, it worked fine.
