[comp.sys.apple2] CP/M Modem Program

JDB8042@RIGEL.TAMU.EDU (John D. Baker) (10/09/90)

Billy,

There are a number of communications programs available for CP/M, most
of them are public domain.

The most common are IMP and MEX. I use QTERM v4.2g by David
Goodenough.

If this is for an Apple CP/M system, I can supply QTERM on Apple 5.25"
disks (or just about any disk format thanks to 22DISK on my brother's
Compaq).

If the PC has a communications program, you can dial up any CP/M-based
BBS (RCP/M) and get a CP/M comm. program. If you have any native Apple
comm program, you can DL the files from the PC and use whatever Native
Apple<-->Apple CP/M tranfer progs you have to get them into the CP/M
environment. Then, its just a matter of installation....(!)

Contact me if you have questions.
