[comp.sys.apple2] Tool Error

penguin@gnh-igloo.cts.com (Mark Steiger) (09/20/90)

Lately, I've been getting an unusual error when I leave ShrinkitGS and/or
Viatess "quickie". On my screen, it says "unable to load necessary tools.
Error $0003" with the floating apple.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

If you were returning to the Finder, the error $0003 means the Finder got
an error trying to start some tools--usually this means the program you
were leaving failed to shut everything down properly.

It *could* be because of some NDA you have, if one is starting up extra
tools. I haven't had any trouble using ShrinkItGS.
