Hi there!
I've recently gotten back into SWL after a >25 year hiatus. A few
things have changed :-). Anywho I am using a Sangean ATS-803A receiver
with a 50 foot wire strung around the eaves of my house (for
eavesdropping :-). I am located in the Los Angeles area near the top
of a 1200 foot hill (Palos Verdes).
I have an Apple //e computer. I recently started monitoring usenet
& genie groups on the subject for frequencies & tips. I have noticed
references to IBM PC software to enhance SWLing by translating CW, RTTY,
Fax, etc. I do not have the funds to go put & buy another computer system.
So, the obvious question is:
Is there an Apple // software (preferably PD or inexpensive)
available that will work in conjunction with my receiver to allow me
to do more than just listen to talk?
Thanks, in advance.
