This is so true. If Apple wanted II users to migrate to the Mac they should
have made this Mac LC/IIe combo years ago! Instead they introduce the IIGS.
I think they are a litte late! I'm a appalled that the LC comes with a 68020!
Why didn't they use a 68030! I'd much rather have a IIsi for this reason! Of
course, the IIe card will only work in the LC!

I think Apple is totally confusing the Apple II Home/Education market by
introducing the IIGS and now pushing this Mac LC/IIe thing. I think this combo
is a great idea, and had it come out a few years ago, I would have bought one!
But, I have a IIGS and so do many schools. What do we do with our IIGS
machines? I also think the LC is overpriced. The PS/1 comes with VGA monitor,
hard drive, keyboard, mouse, software and is only $1800. I don't know if you
could add a Trackstar card to this thing, but if you could, it's a lot better
deal for schools.

I want to see Apple grow ( Mac or Apple II ), but I don't think their thinking
straight.

Exactly! IIGS users are left hanging! IIGS machines are not cheap, and they
expect us to just throw away our IIGS machines for LC/IIe card Macs?
I'm keeping my GS forever. It's an excellent computer. I like Macs, but I'm
not ready to put money one.
