OFFICE MEMO IIgs in a commercial
Date:10/21/90
Okay, we all know that the Apple IIgs hasn't been featured in a
commercial since the ad campaign of about a year and a half ago, but
there is hope for seeing it around in the future. In the current
Apple ad campaign, there is a new commercial, who's basic spin is
that when it comes to education, more students around the world are
educated with Apple computers than any other computer. In the
mulinational settings of various students in various places, several
shots of students in front of computers are shown. In addition to
the several Mac LCs, Classics and IIsi's that are featured, in one
shot, it is very clear to see that the machine being used is...yes,
an Apple IIgs. At least marketing hasn't forgotten that K-12 is
still buying Apple II's.

She said she was doing all she could to see that the //GS appeared with the MAC so that the whole line is represented. Bye the way aren't we expecting too much to see changes in the GS ADDS so soon the decision on advertising was to be made around the end of August. From what I've seen it takes more than a month and a half to impliment any kind of change Advertising alone takes 3 monts and then there is time to make adds in the first place. Realistically 4 to 6 months is fast.
