In-Reply-To: message from tg.exc@pro-harvest.cts.com > BTW: is there any truth to the rumor that a Dungeon Master II might be in > the works? That would be most excellent. I sent in my software A few people have stated that there's no GS version in the works because of the dismal sales of Dungeon Master I.. If you want a GS version, PLEASE WRITE letters to FTL and ask them to make a GS version! It presumably worked for Ultima VI! (But I still suggest people keep writing to make sure Ultima VI //e and/or IIGS is done!) Also, obviously, buy Dungeon Master I. I am not a huge fan of Dungeon Master (this game itself, I'm not a hater of all D&D games.. I wish Dungeon Master had an auto-mapping feature! I like playing D&D games but I --hate-- mapping.. Kind of strange huh? Well I liked the awesome game that was on one of the SoftDisk GSes.. It was almost EXACTLY Wizardry GS but it auto-mapped!) WRITE TO companies to ask for Apple // and Apple IIGS versions! [Also, from a personal cause, WRITE TO FOX TELEVISION to bring back the awesome show Alien Nation!] I'm personally planning on writing to a few companies, like the one that makes Populus, to ask them about a GS version.. I will do this when I get my printer back! [my sister's using it for re'sume's] -- / Apple II(GS) Forever! unknown@ucscb.ucsc.edu \ \"If cartoons were meant for adults, they'd be on in prime time."-Lisa Simpson/

I heard that the sales of Dungeon Master on the gs were SO good that they started work on the sequel. Supposedly the protection scheme on Dungeon Master was very good, and thus the sales weren't too bad either. I don't know if the sequel is still being worked on for the gs or not, though. The order for the original Dungeon Master was ST, Amiga, GS, IBM ( Soon )... The ST already has Chaos Strikes back, so hopefully it will be out for the gs soon. In-Reply-To: message from unknown@ucscb.UCSC.EDU Who is the publisher for Populous? I would like to write them a letter as well. Can you post the address here for others as well? Also, is the address for FTL Games still: FTL GAMES P.O. Box 112489 San Diego, CA 92111 That's what it says on their survey card, but this was printed up two years ago, and they may have moved since then. Thanks for the info. BT

Electronic Arts is the publisher. It was developed by BullFrog, a company in Europe. A better game to ask for is POWERMONGER, the "sequel" to Populous.
