In response to a recent request, here is a list of all the people who have
set foot on the moon (or at least, come within a couple of inches of doing
so; they were wearing boots at the time...)
Apollo 11: Neil Armstrong, and Edwin E. Aldrin Jr.; lunar landing occurred
at 16:17 EDT, July 20, 1969.
(Armstrong first stepped on the lunar surface at 22:56 EDT
on the same day).
Apollo 12: Charles Conrad , and Gordon Bean; landing Nov. 16 (?), 1969.
Apollo 14: Alan Shepard, and Edgar Mitchell; landing Feb 5, 1971
Apollo 15: David Scott, and James Irwin; landing July 30, 1971
Apollo 16: John Young, and Charles Duke; landing April 21, 1972
Apollo 17: Eugene Cernan, and Dr. Harrison Schmitt; landing Dec. 11, 1972.
As far as I know, the order in which the men appear is the order in which
they set foot on the moon.
