Hi!
I think its time to create a 'FAQ' - Frequently Asked Questions
List and post it every once in a while (like once a month or so).
I'm even interested enough to put the list together myself and
maintaining it for a while.
The only thing is: What questions would you like to see
answered in it?
The ideas I came up with are:
A brief statement about what the comp.sys.apple2 news group
is about.
What/where is Binscii/Shrinkit/Gshk/sciibin/nulib...?
What/where is the current system disk? (Apple II and IIGS)
Where can I find Apple II software? (FTP site list,
listserv@brownvm, mail servers, directions on
how to get started with each of them and names
and address of who runs each service)
Should there be a pointer to GEnie/AOL/Compu$serve?
Where can I get Hardware and/or Software? Should this
question be included? Should we mention APDA?
What Apple II programmers magazines are there? (8/16,
develop) Should we include this?
What about pointers to technotes?
Should it include answers to things like heat related
problems (like unclaimed sound interrupts)?
Should it include pointers to development tools?
Which ones?
I guess I have a lot of questions... I'm hoping to get input
from you to help decide what would be the right things to
include or throw out.
Mail me your questions/comments/facts/gripes or whatever and
together we'll get this Frequently Asked Questions list/memo
going...
