[comp.sys.apple2] Where can I get the source code for gprof on the Apple 2x?

Hello. Do you know where I can get the source code for gprof? I am
planning to use it on an Apple 2x. Is gprof generic or do I need a
gprof specifically targeted for the Apple 2x? Do you recommend any
other program analyser? (I already have prof and monitor). Please
