I am posting looking for help for my forelorn uncle. His II+ has died once again, and he just can't see investing the several hundred dollars it would likely cost fro a new motherboard, when this would just get him a short reprieve anyway. He would like, however, to retrieve his years worth of Easywriter Professional based correspondence. DOes anyone out there have the equipment/knowledge necessary to get these file off his floppies (5 1/4" DOS 3.3) over to MS-DOS disks (any size/density ok). And, once they are readable, what are the chances of converting them to a form that ANY PC word-processor will understand? Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated, and rewarded ($). Please reply directly to my e-mail address (hodas@saul.cis.upenn.edu), since I am a Grad student with barely enough time to keep track of the newsgroups that I must already read. Thanks in advance for ANY help you could provide.
