[comp.sys.apple2] 4 Sale:SCSI hard disks for Mac or Apple II

joseph@elbereth.rutgers.edu (Seymour Joseph) (11/20/90)

For Sale:

2 20 Megabyte external SCSI hard disk drives; used but in perfect
working order. I am upgrading to larger drives. If you are running a
Mac or an Apple II without a hard disk, or with very little storage
space, READ ON:

Drive #1: A General Computer FX/20 drive designed to be used on the
Mac. An attractive upright case, platinum color, red in-use LED. The
drive is internally shielded from RF and shock mounted. A very good
design. With external SCSI terminator, system connector cable,
original manuals and software. I have been using this drive on my
Apple IIGS for about a year and it has worked flawlessly.

Drive #2: Originally the same as drive #1 except having a tan case
(matches older macs and apple //s) instead of a platinum one. The
original drive had a head crash, and I have replaced it with a NEW 20
MB miniscribe (the same drive used internally in the Mac SE/20) This
drive can be set up with Apple's HDSC Setup program included with the
Mac operating system. It is internally terminated and comes with
connecting cables.

I am asking $250 for each complete, working, drive ready to plug and
go on the Macintosh.

Apple II owners: For an additional $50 I will include an Apple // SCSI
adapter board, documentation and Apple II formatting and testing
software for the //e and //GS. I can even ship the disk formatted and
ready to boot on your system.
